Is there a minimum and maximum age for adult classes?
We do not have age limits for the adult classes, so long as you are comfortable dancing during the class. Our adult learners are of age 24 years to 88 years. Students with physical injuries and/or health issues are encouraged to take the class at their own pace and to inform the instructor upon registration.
Is there a minimum age for children classes?
Children classes start from the following ages:
Dance – 3 years old and above
Music (Nanyin & Chinese Instruments) – 7 years old and above
How do I enrol myself or my child for classes?
You can call us at 62320008 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know which class you’d like to join for trial. From there we will recommend a suitable class for you for your consideration.
What is the payment mode?
Currently, SHAI accepts payments by cash or PayNow.
How much do classes cost?
In order to make courses easily available to everyone, our course fees are heavily subsidized.
Which class should I sign up for?
Certain classes are progressive, while others are maintained at beginner level and are suitable for people with no prior dance or music experience. We recommend that you first enquire about the class you intend to join before coming down. As such, we will recommend students suitable classes based on their previous experience. After completing a trial class and ensuring it is suitable for you, students can enrol thereafter.
What if the class is not available or full?
If a class is full or has yet to commence (such as new classes), we will place you on a waiting list for that particular class. When the class has a vacant spot or is about to start, we will contact you to let you know.
What level am I?
It is important that you are able to find the right class that correlates with your ability and experience. This allows you to reap the full potential of the class while also enjoying and learning skills attributed to that level.
